Truck Door Magnets

What it is

Truck Door Magnets are sized for box trucks, cargo vans and work trucks that need business signage during the day and a plain door the rest of the time. A magnetic sign is printed in full color on a flexible magnetic sheet cut to your size, so it lifts off in seconds when you are done using the vehicle for business and leaves nothing behind — no adhesive, no residue, no commitment. Why it holds up

The graphic is a full-color print on the magnetic sheet; store the sign flat and dry between uses so it keeps its shape and hold. The magnet backing is flexible enough to sit flat against a curved door panel rather than bridging the curve and lifting at the edges.

Uses by vehicle type

How to install and use magnetic signs

1. Clean and dry the door panel — grit trapped between the magnet and the paint is what causes swirl marks over time, not the magnet itself.
2. Position the sign away from body lines, trim and seams, which create a small gap that lets the magnet flex in the wind.
3. Press flat from the center outward so the entire backing is in contact with the panel, with no air gap at the edges.
4. Remove the sign at least weekly to clean both the back of the magnet and the paint underneath, and to check for any trapped grit.
5. Store it flat, not folded, when it is off the vehicle so the magnet sheet keeps its shape.

Removal and care

There is nothing to peel — lift a corner and pull the sign straight off. The only real care item is grit: dust and road debris can get trapped between the magnet and the paint and cause light swirl marks if the sign stays in one spot for weeks without being removed and wiped down. Taking it off and cleaning underneath weekly avoids that entirely, and the sign can come off and go back on as often as you need.

Will it stick to my vehicle?

Magnetic signs only stick to bare steel body panels — most car and truck doors and hoods qualify, but they will not hold on aluminum panels, fiberglass, plastic bumpers or composite panels, which are increasingly common on newer trucks and vans. If you are not sure what your door panel is made of, a refrigerator magnet or a pocketknife (a magnet will not grip; a blade will scratch, so use the magnet test) held up to the panel is a quick way to check before ordering. Stick to flat sections of the panel rather than draping the sign over a curve or a body line, and pull it off at least weekly to clean underneath and avoid trapped grit causing swirl marks.
